Final Video

Art Works

When I looked around at the works of other students a few csught my attention more than anything.
I really like this one for example, in my opinion it looks like something right out of a dream, not a nice one either.
This on the other hand looked simple and I just caught myself staring at the little animal.
I really loved the colors on this one and it just looked different from the others.
I just had to put this one that I found there, it is from my classmate and friend Michael.

Flipbook

I already had in mind how tedious doing this kind of thing was because of the animations I used to do on my laptop when I was younger but doing it by hand made me notice how much I hate drawing in paper.

Nonsense Product

For my nonsense project I thought about it and remembered a picture of a fork which had a chain handle and thought wow that is useless but someone would buy it.

Tired of your fork bending out of shape when you put it in your bag? Won't fit anywhere? Does not look interesting enough? Look no more for $9.99 you can get your very own fork chain and if you order now you also get the spoon chain for free!

A capella

I was going through some of the readings and videos and came across the a capella cover of Paradise by Mike Tompkins and it caught my attention.
A capella showed me just how skilled some people can be and how even though some people can't sing some other people can make so much more with themselves, I would very much like to learn how to do even half of what Mike does since it sounds so cool and good but more than anything it looks fun.
I do doubt I will train enough to become good at it if I ever try it though.

Yoshi!

We were supposed to make some grid art and what I understood by that was pixel art but it was supposed to be done with object which were not square or rectangular to begin with so I chose to use skittles for my art.
This little Yoshi took me around an hour and a half to organize and make and though it would have been much easier to make had I made a grid before starting I chose to just place them until they formed what I wanted, I used a 1 pound bag of skittles which was more than enough and I even had extras to eat once I was done and for the white in the eyes, nose and neck I used ice breakers.
This project was really fun but I would not like to repeat it since I am more of a tech guy than a hands on.
